Ahlum & Arbor will contact you to set or confirm your appointment with one of our Certified Arborist.

STEP 3

Your Certified Arborist will visit the property to evaluate your trees and email you a copy of the estimate.

For New Clients

If we have not been performed a service for you previously, we do have a first-time client fee of $125.00 for clients in the central Ohio area (this amount may be more for clients outside of our normal service area) to cover the arborist’s time to walk the property with you, and give you recommendations and an estimate. For the first appointment, we do ask that you be home to meet with the arborist, giving you the opportunity to ask questions about any of the trees and shrubs on your property. After Ahlum & Arbor has completed a service on the property, we do not charge for the arborist to stop out to check the property or to do additional estimates.

Pruning is a highly important practice to ensure safety, but proper pruning also preserves and enhances the health, structure and natural beauty of your trees and shrubs. Our pruning services cover trees all across the age spectrum, from just-planted to magnificent mature trees that need to be maintained to help preserve their beauty. We specialize in tree pruning, but we take just as much care with the pruning of shrubs and hedges as well.

Removal

When needed, we also provide tree removal in Ohio while still caring for your surrounding property. Our goal, when removing trees big or small, is to do it in such a way as to not disturb or damage your property. We have specialized equipment and skilled climbers to prune or remove trees in all situations

Given the length of time it takes to grow replacement trees and shrubs, it’s important to focus on proper care. Some property owners with many trees prefer to have pruning completed annually; others may only need pruning every few years.
